Dr. Anna Kovalchuk | Economics | Associate Professor at Wenzhou University Business School | China

Dr. Anna Kovalchuk is an accomplished economist whose multidisciplinary expertise spans development economics, fiscal decentralization, sustainable transition policies, and data-driven economic analysis, reflecting her strong academic foundation and applied research competence. Dr. Anna Kovalchuk completed her Ph.D. in Economics from Shandong University, a Double First-Class institution, and holds an MPA from the National Academy of Public Administration of Ukraine, enabling her to integrate public policy insight with advanced quantitative economic research. Her professional experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and the Ningbo China Institute for Supply Chain Innovations (MIT-SCALE Network), where she investigated economic uncertainty avoidance and its influence on BRICS investment decisions while contributing to Q1 SSCI publications and international research presentations. She also gained industry experience as a Business Analyst at Minth Group, producing strategic financial reports, designing data visualization dashboards, and supporting decision-making through SAP FICO and advanced analytics, alongside earlier work supporting UNDP Accelerator Labs in evaluating economic and environmental transitions in coal-dependent regions. Her research interests include sustainable development economics, fiscal decentralization, uncertainty modeling, investment behavior, and quantitative policy evaluation. Dr. Anna Kovalchuk’s research skills span dynamic panel data modeling, econometric analysis, Python, R, Stata, Google Analytics, Excel-based analytics, and multi-language communication, supported by experience in bilingual academic dissemination. Her awards and honors include recognition as a certified peer reviewer on the Web of Science Reviewer Platform, Business Intelligence and Data Analyst Certification from CFI, high-level professional classification in Ningbo, and active membership in the Chinese Economists Society.
