Dr. Sumit Kumar has pursued an illustrious academic career, beginning with a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata, in 2014. He furthered his studies with a Master of Technology in Geotechnical Engineering from NIT Rourkela in 2019, graduating with an excellent CGPA of 8.35. Currently, he is on the verge of completing his doctoral research at NIT Patna, focusing on slope stability analysis using limit equilibrium methods and soft computing simulations.

Experience

Dr. Kumar began his teaching career as an Assistant Professor at St. Mary’s Technical Campus, Kolkata, where he served from May to December 2019. In addition to teaching, he took on leadership roles, such as Head of the Department and Geotechnical Engineering Lab In-Charge. At Aditya College of Technology and Science, he continues to inspire the next generation of engineers with his dedication to education and research.
