Dr. Mechkaroska holds a PhD in Natural Mathematics with a focus on Informatics from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Skopje (2020). She completed her Master of Information Sciences in coding and cryptography with distinction at the same institution (2014), and earned her Engineering degree in Mathematics and Informatics from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Skopje (1992).
