Maher Abdul Moein Alrahhal, a distinguished computer scientist from Syria, has made significant strides in artificial intelligence, big data, and data analysis. Currently a postdoctoral fellow at Eudoxia Research University, Maher has a robust academic background and extensive teaching experience, underpinned by numerous publications and awards.

Education 🎓

Maher holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (2024), with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Data Analysis. He earned his Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal (2018), and graduated with honors in Computer Engineering from the University of Aleppo (2014).

Experience 📚

Maher has served as a lecturer at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is currently an adjunct faculty member at Westford University College and Exceed College, UAE. His academic journey includes roles such as Teaching Assistant at the University of Aleppo and in-charge of the Big Data Lab at JNTU. He has also supervised multiple master’s projects in computer science.

Maher’s research interests are wide-ranging, encompassing artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, big data, Hadoop, image processing, video processing, text processing, signal processing, and multimedia systems.

Maher has received several prestigious awards, including the Alan Turing Award from Eudoxia Research University (2023), the Excellence Shield from Engineers Syndicate – Hama Branch (2015), and University Excellence Distinction for first ranking in 2014 from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Syria.
