Rita de Cássia Franco Rêgo graduated in Medicine from UFBA in 1987. She pursued a Master’s in Collective Health (1996) and a Ph.D. in Public Health/Epidemiology (2002), both from UFBA. Additionally, she completed a postdoctoral program in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina (2015-2016).
