Ecology researcher Dr. Anya Zhong is a dedicated early-career scholar specializing in environmental engineering, surveying science, and ecosystem restoration, currently pursuing her Doctor of Engineering (PhD) in Surveying Science and Technology at the China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). Dr. Anya Zhong completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Surveying Engineering at Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, followed by a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering at North China University of Science and Technology, and received advanced joint research training at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, forming a strong interdisciplinary academic background. Professionally, Dr. Anya Zhong has been actively involved in multiple national and provincial research projects supported by the Hebei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the National Youth Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the National Key Research and Development Program, demonstrating substantial research experience in large-scale ecological studies. Her research interests focus on soil ecology, heavy metal remediation, glomalin-related soil protein mechanisms, alfalfa-assisted ecological restoration, socio-ecological system evolution, ecosystem services, and mining-disturbed land rehabilitation using remote sensing. Dr. Anya Zhong’s research skills include ecological modeling, remote sensing analysis, explainable machine learning, soil and environmental assessment, and ecosystem health evaluation. She has authored ten academic papers, including SCI-indexed and core Chinese journal publications, reflecting strong scholarly recognition.
