Shakeel Ahmed is a dedicated researcher and educator specializing in Economics, with a focus on Public Health, Gender Issues, Inequalities, Biostatistics, and Socioeconomic determinants. He completed his PhD at Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna, supported by an ICSSR fellowship.

Shakeel Ahmed holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from A N Sinha Institute of Social Studies, Patna, where his research explored various facets of socioeconomic inequalities and health outcomes.
Experience 
During his PhD, Shakeel worked as a Consultant on projects assessing family planning access among adolescents and the impact of COVID-19 on migrant workers’ livelihoods. His pre-PhD experience includes roles as Assistant Professor and freelance subject matter expert at institutions in Patna and Greater Noida.
Research Interests 
His research interests include examining healthcare access patterns, socioeconomic disparities, and the impact of public policies on marginalized populations, aiming to contribute to evidence-based policy recommendations.
