Epidemiology is the central focus of the academic and professional journey of Mr. Bihari Kuikel, a public health professional from Dupcheshwor-6, Nuwakot, Nepal, with extensive experience in health systems strengthening, program management, and evidence-based research. Mr. Bihari Kuikel holds a Master of Science in Public Health (Epidemiology) from Kathmandu University, complemented by a Master of Health Care Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Care Management from Pokhara University, along with a Bachelor in Public Health from Purbanchal University and a PCL in General Medicine from CTEVT, establishing a strong multidisciplinary educational foundation. Professionally, Mr. Bihari Kuikel has been serving as a Public Health Inspector at Dupcheshwor Rural Municipality, where he leads planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and capacity-building workshops for diverse public health programs. His experience also includes internships contributing to international and national projects on health systems strengthening, non-communicable disease integration, and cross-border health collaboration, as well as a Program Officer role at Kamana Health Nepal focusing on program monitoring, stakeholder communication, and performance improvement. The research interests of Mr. Bihari Kuikel span epidemiology, health systems research, maternal and child health, mental health, infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and social determinants of health.
