Dr. Ravi Ranjan is an emerging researcher in DC microgrid control whose work focuses on decentralized and distributed strategies for power sharing, voltage regulation, and renewable-integrated microgrid optimization. Dr. Ravi Ranjan completed his academic training in electrical engineering and is currently pursuing advanced research as a Research Scholar at NIT Silchar, where he has contributed significantly to PV-battery systems, hybrid renewable energy control, and DC microgrid stability. His professional experience includes developing innovative control schemes for PV-BES systems, wind-battery coordination, and robust LQR-based hybrid microgrid regulation, reflected through multiple IEEE conference papers and journal publications. Dr. Ravi Ranjan’s research interests include DC microgrid primary and secondary control, power electronics, renewable energy integration, and smart grid technologies, supported by strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink modelling, converter design, decentralized algorithms, and real-time control analysis. He has earned increasing scholarly recognition, accumulating citations and contributing impactful works such as decentralized PV-battery control and coordinated battery SoC signaling strategies, along with receiving appreciation for his academic excellence and research outputs. With a growing research footprint and commitment to advancing clean energy systems, Dr. Ravi Ranjan continues to contribute meaningful innovations to the future of smart and sustainable microgrid technologies.
