(VHB) in Raleigh, NC, a position he assumed in Fall 2023. Before this, he served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at NCSU. Tanmay also gained valuable industry experience through internships at VHB and the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) in Raleigh, NC. He further extended his expertise as a Lecturer at Pabna University of Science and Technology in Bangladesh.

Dr. Malik Zainul Abdin, born on June 3rd, 1963, in Quadirabad (U.P.), India, has a robust academic background. He completed his Ph.D. in 1991 from IARI, New Delhi, with a focus on Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology. His early academic pursuits laid the foundation for his future contributions to the field of biotechnology.

With a wealth of 34 years of research experience and 30 years of teaching experience, Dr. Abdin has made significant strides in the field. He served as the Finance Officer at Jamia Hamdard (March 16th, 2017 – April 13th, 2018) and currently holds the positions of Head of the Department of Biotechnology and Director of the Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development.

Dr. Abdin's research career spans various positions, including Head of the Centre for Transgenic Plant Development and Dean of the Faculty of Science at Jamia Hamdard.
