Her doctoral research focused on the “Preparation and Evaluation of Topical Nanoformulations for the Treatment of Melasma.” She holds an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics) from Ain Shams University, completed in 2018, where her thesis examined “Preparation and Characterization of Topical Antioxidant Formulations.” In 2010, she graduated with a B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industries from Cairo University, achieving an overall grade of “Excellent.”

Dr. Shymaa has been a key academic figure at Future University in Egypt since 2012. Starting as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, she progressed to Assistant Lecturer and eventually to her current position as Lecturer.
