Transport Planning Dr. Mehrnaz Zargarzadeh is a transport planning researcher and engineer with strong international academic and professional experience in sustainable mobility, urban transport systems, and spatial planning. Dr. Mehrnaz Zargarzadeh holds a PhD in Spatial Planning from the University of Coimbra, a Master’s degree in Road and Traffic Engineering from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, and Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the Universities of Wuppertal and Isfahan. Dr. Mehrnaz Zargarzadeh has worked as a transport engineer for the Municipality of Tehran and as a researcher on major urban, logistics, cycling, and public transport projects, including EU-funded initiatives. Research interests include transport planning, cycling mobility, logistics performance, and inclusive energy transitions, supported by skills in transport modeling, policy analysis, GIS-based planning, and mobility assessment. Dr. Mehrnaz Zargarzadeh has received specialized international training and contributes impactful, people-centered solutions to contemporary transport challenges.
