He completed his residency in pediatrics at King Hussein Medical Center, Amman, Jordan, in 1997. In 1999, he obtained the Jordanian Board of Pediatrics and, later in 2018, the Jordanian Board of Pediatric Neurology. His postdoctoral training includes prestigious programs at Rochester Hospital, New York, and Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital, Pennsylvania, focusing on pediatric neurology.

Dr. Khreisat has held various esteemed roles in his career, including Chair of Pediatric Neurology and Neurophysiology at Queen Rania Hospital for Children. He has been a consultant pediatric neurologist at King Hussein Medical Center since 2011 and has led numerous departments and committees. His international experience includes serving as a visiting pediatric neurologist in the U.S. and working in humanitarian missions with the United Nations.
