Early Academic Pursuits

Anielle Christine Almeida Silva initiated her academic journey at the University Federal de Uberlândia, earning a Bachelor's degree in Physics of Materials in 2010. Her early focus involved studying the effects of synthesis temperature on the size and stability of nanocrystals, a research project supported by the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais. She continued her academic pursuit, becoming the first student to undertake a direct Ph.D. in the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Física at the Instituto de Física, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Her doctoral research, completed in 2014, delved into the synthesis, characterization, and functionalization of semiconductor quantum dots through aqueous colloidal solutions, with a specific emphasis on nanobiotechnological applications.

Professional Endeavors

Following her Ph.D., Anielle Christine Almeida Silva engaged in a post-doctoral position at the same institution, delving further into her expertise. She later transitioned to the role of a professor at the Instituto de Física at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, where she served from 2015 to 2018. During this period, she contributed significantly to the institution as a Professor Efetivo, actively participating in teaching and research.

In 2018, she took on a new role as a Professor Universitario at the Universidade Federal de Alagoas, where she continues her academic journey and contributes to the field of Physics.
