Dr. Esraa Mousa Ali is an Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with over ten years of academic and research experience, specializing in RF circuits, antenna design, and wireless communication systems. Education:

Dr. Ali holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia (2019), where she focused on enhanced rectenna designs for RF energy harvesting. She earned her M.Sc. in Design Systems from Universiti Sains Malaysia (2013), with research on waveguide slot array antennas. Her academic foundation was laid at the Hashemite University (2010), where she completed her B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This diverse educational background from globally ranked universities has shaped her strong technical and analytical skills.

Experience:

Dr. Ali currently serves as an Associate Professor at Al-Ahliyya Amman University and previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Amman Arab University. She played a critical role in establishing the Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics departments. Her responsibilities have included report preparation for international aviation accreditations, curriculum development, and extensive committee work in quality assurance, e-learning, and student mentoring. She also gained valuable research and teaching experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

Her research interests lie in RF and microwave circuits, metamaterials, flexible and wearable antennas, wireless power transfer, and energy harvesting systems. She is particularly focused on applications in next-generation wireless systems (5G/6G), body-area networks, and IoT. Dr. Ali aims to develop compact, high-efficiency systems that improve energy performance and communication reliability across various platforms.

Dr. Ali has been consistently ranked in the AD Scientific Index for six consecutive years, currently placed #372 in the H-index and #362 in the i10-index in Jordan, which highlights her sustained scholarly impact.
