He obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Mekelle University, Ethiopia, specializing in optical character recognition. He later pursued a Master’s in Technology in Microelectronics Engineering at Addis Ababa University, focusing on VLSI and analog integrated circuits. Dr. Getachew holds a Master’s degree in Control Engineering from Addis Ababa University, where his thesis on grid-connected microhydro power systems demonstrated his expertise in renewable energy solutions. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Automation and Control at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
