His career highlights include managing projects valued up to USD 1.3 billion, encompassing onshore/offshore oil & gas, enhanced oil recovery, and renewable energy sectors. He has overseen the entire project lifecycle from front-end development through execution, ensuring adherence to stringent technical, regulatory, and environmental standards.

At PDO, Benoie served as Front-end Development Manager and Project Delivery Manager, where he spearheaded critical initiatives such as the Marmul Polymer Phase 3 project and the Nimr Reed Bed Project, the world’s first commercial produced water treatment wetland. His expertise in managing complex projects and fostering stakeholder relationships has been instrumental in achieving operational excellence and significant cost efficiencies across various projects.

Mehmet Cetin, Prof. Dr., serves as a faculty member in the Department of City and Regional Planning and the Department of Landscape Architecture at Ondokuz Mayis University, Samsun, Turkey. He is actively involved in teaching and research, specializing in various fields related to environmental and landscape planning.

Mehmet Cetin completed his Doctorate in Landscape Architecture at Temple University, USA, from 2009 to 2013. Prior to this, he earned his Postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Turkey, between 2006 and 2008. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the same university’s Bartın Faculty of Forestry in Landscape Architecture, graduating in 2005.

With extensive academic experience, Mehmet Cetin has taught 20 courses at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. He has supervised 6 PhD and 20 master’s theses, currently advising 4 PhD students and 1 master’s degree student. He has led 2 international and 5 national research projects, focusing on diverse aspects of urban and landscape planning, environmental indicators, and ecological monitoring.
